Trump had 4 years of practice and then a hiatus to think over what he could do when he returns. He codified his actions with project 2025. He built his cabinet around loyalty not competence.

Vance was only a senator for a hot minute and has only been VP for the same. Vance has a huge learning curve and he has shown no type of gifted abilities at all. Actually, I think he was sent to Hungry instead of the sec of state: Rubio, was to sully his international credibility, leaving the door open for Rubio who has a ton more experience and would clearly get more stuff done than Vance. I dont think they want Vance to succeed Trump. But that is their current roster.
