RIP Robbie Robertson at 80 after a long illness.

From Ronnie Hawkins to Dylan backing band to The Last Waltz, The Band were consummate musicians and bridge from folk to rock.

I went thru 2 vinyl copies of The Best of the Band then bought the CD when that change came.

I believe he is the last of the Band to pass.

He Shall Be Released.
