Thanks, Russ. My deceased father has a couple of items there that are worth claiming. I have a copy of his trust that shows I'm an heir. I have a few things there that add up to a couple of hundred dollars. But my paternal grandfather's brother (i.e. my great uncle) is listed there with over $5,000 worth of items. I have no idea how I or my sister or any of our cousins could go about claiming them. He had no kids, and we, the cousins, are certainly his closest and oldest living relatives. But I can't imagine we'd be able to come up with documentation to prove we are entitled to claim his items.
