It's very good and very informative of what was going on in music at a particular time.
There's another documentary that's natural pairing with The Wrecking Crew called Muscle Shoals that looks at the Muscle Shoals musicians who were tightly connected to Stax, among others. That's worth watching as a follow up.
I'm not sure what platform it's on. It's been a while since I watched it (on TanmpaTide's recommendation, if memory sewrves).
