But at the same time, the US will continue to blockade Iranian ports. Would the US actually fire on Russian ships? or Chinese ships? If those ships pass through the blockade, Iran may yet endure.
And if Iran can endure the blockade, that would put Iran pretty much in control of the standoff, right? If Iran never submits a proposal, the ceasefire would continue indefinitely... which means Iran is in control. And if they are in control, does that mean that they've "won" this war?
I guess the Trump supporters were right all along, he's operating at a magical level that no one else can understand. The USA confronted a murderous tyrannical regime, somehow made them into the good guys, and lost control of the situation. Four-dimensional chess indeed...
