On the entertainment side is Trump. Don the Con has been very active with his social media postings, fact free blame shifting, his personal make over of our nation's capital city, and in general bending the news cycle to focus on his narrative of events.
On the income side, are the American people, who in growing numbers, recognize that price inflation continues to widen the gap between their bread and everyday living costs. To address this there are two choices: consume less or pay even more over time by using their credit cards.
I realize this in not a perfect analogy, but it makes my point my way.
