Literal use:
Something genuinely ironic (unexpected reversal)
Example: A fire station burns down — that’s ironic.
Figurative / casual use (very common):

People use “ironically” just to point out a coincidence or amusing contrast, even if it’s not true irony.
Example: “Ironically, I forgot my phone at home.” (Not truly ironic, just unfortunate.)
