Trump says it would open teh Strait that's not been confirmed.

So you have a deal that would end in August. So Trump gets 2 months to hopefully lower the gas prices and improve his polling. But he broke the system so much 2 months isn't enough to fix it. So by August he would likely just resume the war, as Israel wants.

And then as MTG said, he'll simply try and cancel the midterms because of war.
