only one, you still get political differences, they just play out in the same party.
I think another part of the analogy is that Ahmedinejad is a forgotten character at this point who had no relevance in Iranian politics since his term ended as the president.
Plus for Israel and the US to think that somehow Ahmedinejad would be a more positive voice in Iran is kinda insane. IIRC, he was among the original group of students who started the hostage crisis in 1979. He was also a character that Israel was especially campaigning against as pure evil at one point.
