Story is all over now. Back in 2025 Trumps former exec producer from the Apprentice approached Pratt with an idea for a Reality Show about him running for mayor. Pratt was just coming out with a book and he thought he wanted to focus on the book release so he said no. Months later with the book bombing, he decided to run for Mayor. The plan was to turn it into a reality show for Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag. Pratt has filed for BK twice, he's also got criminal charges in his past so he made sure any reality deal would promise not to bring up his past issues which include him attempting to board a flight from Costa Rica with a handgun in his carryon.
So his entire reason to run was the reality show. ONce he got some "traction" he started buying into the idea he might actually win, which is incredibly stupid apparently in the county it's like 60% registered Dems he would have to get all the GOP and independent voters to win.
But as Trump started talking up fraud, Pratt jumped on the opportunity thinking at worst he can boost his book sales since the book has bombed so far.
