International competitions have all the superstars but all but a few teams have a lot of just okay players filling out the lineup. International ball is like an all star game, in the sense that the teams are kind of thrown together as you say, and don't practice or play as much, except that the top club teams have better players -- all stars from multiple countries instead of just one -- across the lineup than international teams, plus they play as a team.
I also kind of hate Infantino and FIFA.
