considerably. The whole point of playing the group stages is to get 48 teams down to 32. You can more or less look at every group and see exactly who's not going to make it to the knock out rounds. There is no "group of death" when there is a good chance that 3 out of the 4 teams in the group will advance.
I don't like that *at all*. Infantino is sh*t.
What's next? Go to 56 teams and add a mini "play in" tournament? I mean, is this NCAA basketball or something?
