tRump was in a tough, self-inflicted jam. Looks like there were 3 options;
1. Keep slogging along in this idiotic war until the global economy collapses
2. Declare victory with no deal, pick up your war toys and go home, or
3. Agree to this pathetic "deal" which is by any measure horrifically bad, especially in light of Obama's handling of Iran.
I'm guessing tRump's billionaire handlers were more interested in $ than the geo-political future of the region so we got a sh!tty deal that preserves the monied interests, for now.
Of course it might unravel a thousand different ways, starting with Israeli attacks somewhere.
