The money released under the JCPOA was about $30 billion, a partial release of frozen Iranian assets. Trump’s Versailles capitulation releases Iranian assets in much larger amounts which had remained frozen and additional $300 bn in “rebuilding” funds which is being funded (supposedly) from sources other than US taxpayer funds
