They've had some top-notch talent in the past emerging from Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland that they're leaving out. And it's not just soccer. They do this in rugby too (6-natiokns is basically the 4 UK nations plus France and Italy). Nobody else does this and not being a UK-er, I find it kinda idiotic.
