"The integrity of football is gone."
There is this zeitgeist out there, embodied by that banner, that the US made soccer corrupt. It's a ridiculous assertion.
It's like Mick Jagger coming back from a tour and a headline says "Mick's virginity is gone."
What happened sucks. But, let's not pretend the FIFA had any integrity before this. The integrity is gone. So are the dinosaurs.
