We all know FIFA is corrupt and we all know that they are jiggering the matches... but we still stay engaged.

It's almost as if FIFA's corruption was part of the sport, kind of like a sand trap on a golf course. Or kind of like dogsh!t on the sidewalk. Everyone knows it's there and we merely deal with it and move on....
