That's what scares me. At a certain point we have to realize if the guardrails don't hold it literally doesn't matter that it's against the Constitution.
Trying to list all the illegal things being done now would take ages, Trumps money corruption, his legal corruption etc.
I have a theory that leading up to the election Trump is going to do an October surprise and it's going to be Trump pardons Maduro and his wife after Maduro comes out and "admits" that Venezuela tampered with the 2020 election, he'll probably also say they were working with China or whatever to tie into Trumps speech. It won't be true of course but it gives Trump the pretext in conjunction with his speech to then shut down the elections.
It's been public for weeks now there's a group of "lawyers" connected to Trump who have been telling him to declare an emergency and postpone the elections, they apparently have already written a 17 page document for him that essentially lays it out.
I think Trump or people controlling him grasp how incredibly unpopular that would be and that Americans aren't going to just accept it, No Kings has made that clear. He really tried to get the Save Act so he could rig the elections that way but I think he's now into plan B declare an emergency and I think Maduro is part of that plan.
It's all illegal but when he's POTUS, has Immunity and has a private army of ICE people unless our military and police step in and stop him who will? ANd we know there are millions of idiots like Wood who are going to cheer him on when he tries to steal or cancel the election.
