Her music covers a range from the more ethereal meditative, slow tempo pieces that have layers of electronics and studio production on top, to quirky upbeat tunes that can be real catchy but does not fit neatly into the "pop" pigeonhole.
She's terrific though not someone you come back to every other day, knowwhatImean? (I should actually give some of her albums a re-listen these days.)

She has a kinda distinct flow to her melodies.
She worked with another highly original artist named Tim Presley under the name Drinks for a while where they got pretty avant garde. This one, keeps giving me Captain Beefheart vibes.
(Presley is a whole 'nother story that I am not well-versed in yet. He often appears as an auxiliary character in the Osees/Ty Segall circles around your neck of the woods, but he may be back in SF these days. He works as White Fence most of the time. When The Fall had a magnifienct breakdown in the '10s (or was it the late '00s?) he was brought in the salvage the tour with a drummer and a bass player (I saw them live on their first or second outing at the Knitting Factory in LA and kept thinking "these guys don't look like the band I saw in the pictures; I had no idea what was going on.) They went on to record "Reformation TLC" -- that line up is affectionately known as the "American Fall". He's on my list of people to dig deeper into at some point.)
