Unlike bowing to Russia, flirting with Kim Jong Un raises the possibility that Trump could be charged with treason.

God knows that Trump has trampled our nation's laws and values in innumerable ways - masked government agents snatching people off the streets, weaponizing the Justice Department against political opponents, awarding no-bid contracts to friends and donors - but until now it would be hard to accuse Trump of the greatest offense of all: treason.

Trump's path continues to take him closer and closer to more spectacular failures. I consider treason to be the most serious violation that any president could commit. Could DJT possibly cross that line, too, and eventually be credibly charged with treason?
