Not every field may be as amenable to sessions of "explain your reasoning", a lot of lecturers may not have any time or energy left to take one more thing on their plate, which increases quite a bit based on how many classes they're teaching.
I appreciate that you give a damn and are able to do this, but I wouldn't go from there to impugning everyone who is not able to do what you can do.
