There's no way on earth does Trump run as a VP. He simply can't. It's plain impossible.
My take. He runs as President. People protest that the 22nd amendment says he can't. He says "what 22nd amendment? That's just made up stuff" In the meantime, the conservative think tanks develop this theory that post civil war amendments are later add ons that violate the spirit of the original constitution, so they are essentially unconstitutional. And he keeps running. States decide they're not going to put his name on the ballot; he sends the military, etc etc.
I think that's a more likely scenario than Trump running as the VP even if it's intended only for appearances.
