Lots of good points and he is right Iran is losing their leverage over Hormuz.
My counter would be we lost as soon as it went way past the original timeline. We will probably ultimately "win" because we're the bigger power but in the court of public opinion we lost. Most of the world didn't like IRan already, Trump has actually managed to give Iran a boost. We've lost US lives, innocent Iranian lives, and done damage all over the region. It will take years to rebuild that and a whole generation of kids growing up in that area now hate the US, a whole new generation of terrorists are being raised there right now because of Trump
So yeah in 5 years the US will likely be the recognized winner, but the harm he's done to the world will last well beyond that.
