Texas has "suspense listed" the voter registrations of 1.2 million voters, without publicly announcing it.
What is suspense? It means they are "not sure" your home address is correct so they have flagged you as needing to update it. But they're not telling those people, why, because we don't know if their address is current so how can we send them a notice? Exact same trick Georgia has pulled before. Texas media is reporting it largely because Texas Dems have called it out. It doesn't mean you can't vote but it does mean the whole state now has to go onto the online voter portal and verify they're not in "suspense" and if they are, they need to update their home address which in most cases is actually unchanged.
Texas did what Georgia did they sent out mail to people asking them to confirm addresses but made the mail look so generic most people just threw it out. If they didn't respond, on the list. Guess where they focused this, yep, blue areas of Texas
