Quelle surprise! How on earth can those two dots ever be connected?
This is obviously one big coincidence: an extremely rare condition (spontaneous spleen rupture in a newborn) occurring with an infectious disease that up until recently had almost like 100 cases or so a year, upticked to 200 something in 20254, then jumped 10fold in 2025. then already passed that mark in 2026.
How could there possibly be a link?
