The problem with the polls this year is that they don't take into account the unprecedented efforts by Trump to suppress voting.
If you saw the town hall event in Tarrant County,Texas the other night with Dems AND Republicans just screaming at the people in charge how dare you try and make it harder for me to vote.
In a straight up fair vote yeah I fully believe the Dems would take the house and senate I just don't have much faith we're going to have one. GOP in Texas is already trying to make driver pools illegal because one of the solutions to the suppression is to get pools of drivers to take people to the polls
Tarrant County went ahead and cut 92 polling sites in spite of the protests. texas also has very strict restrictions on who is allowed to request a mail in ballot so they'e all in on trying to stop people from voting
