Yesterday, 33 Democrats joined Republicans to pass a law that takes federal funding away from academic institutions that tolerate saying bad things about Israel, (including BlueDogs Golden and Gluesenkamp Perez). Josh Gottheimer cosponsored HR 4795 with ultra-MAGA Republican Virginia Foxx, which forces universities to do business with Israel by requiring these institutions to submit annual certification that they gave students and faculty access to academic programs in Israel.
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, (AIPAC) immediately celebrated their stranglehold on their captive House members, and Democrats who walked away from the rest of the caucus.
