To be blunt my dad is white, I'm white, my sister is white and that's probably our best protection in this instance as it's pretty clear they are trying to deport non white people as a priority.
The irony is my sister and I got our NZ passports just in case this scenario happened and one or both of us had to go to NZ to help my dad if he gets deported. But now of course you have this other risk. we might get deported. And then you have the other issue, IF they try and deport him there's no guarantee it would be to NZ, they have been sending lots of people to 3rd party countries.
The only good thing is she said she doesn't think the odds are high they just grab him on Monday she said that's pretty rare in green card cases where the person has no criminal record, he has none. But her concern is the change from we don't need your biometric data we already have it, in December, to come in on Monday and give us biometric data implies they may be planning to somehow claim his information is wrong.
