When an illegal and invalid prosecution by an AG who got elected for the sole purpose of bringing an illegal and invalid prosecution against you goes forward results in an illegal and invalid conviction that will no doubt be overturned in time, yes, a pardon is in order.

To wit, Trump pardoned many black Americans that were unjustly convicted or sentenced in his first term, look it up you might learn something.
