to implement the hateful chaos he promised.

As unbelievable as it may seem right now, Trump may actually implement some of his crazy policies. Here's a brief scorecard off the top of my head:

- Deporting un-documented criminals - yes, this is a no-brainer

- Deporting un-documented non-criminals - probably yes (It's the hatred, stupid). Will he use federal agents to do it? Will they raid churches etc. to do it? Probably yes. Will the public backlash hurt him? No, he and his supporters will revel in the backlash.

- Dismantle environmental protections - yes.

- Provide tax breaks for the wealthy - yes, the grift never ends.

- Implement tariffs - only on a targeted basis, not the ambitious program he campaigned on. He promised widespread tariffs, but his team will not allow that to occur, because doing that would tank our country's economy. Even the rich people will be hurt by widespread tariffs, and Team Trump won't let that happen.

Eliminate Obamacare - yes, and it will hurt a lot of people including his supporters, but that won't matter because Trump is emotionally committed to undoing Obamacare no matter who gets hurt.

End the war in Ukraine - I think not. Trump will push Ukraine to effectively surrender to Russia, but Europe will continue to provide support. I think Ukraine will push on without US assistance. However, it's also possible that the Ukraine is just too worn down to continue fighting without US assistance. (Here's a crazy thought: would Trump threaten to offer US weapons to Russia in an effort to shut down the Ukrainian resistance?).

We are living in interesting times...
