goes way beyond the golden rule which I wholeheartedly support, and which is basically what you described. To most people Harris endorsing tax funded transgender surgeries for inmates is but one example. Pronouns, bathrooms, and sports are other hot ones. Basic respect goes without saying, but changing policies that have significant affects on others is more than just basic respect.
I do have to disagree about AOC. While I generally like her and admire her spunk she's perceived as far left of Sanders and has about zero chance of ever getting close to a nomination.
