Catastrophe in Baltimore. No joke.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge has collapsed. Local Fox News, just before they signed off at 11:30, provided footage of the bridge going down during the night. A huge container ship strikes one of the towers at one end of the bridge's main span. When that tower collapsed, so does the other main tower, the middle span, and adjacent spans and towers. Reports say this happend about 1:30am, local time.

You can see numerous headlights on the middle span when it plummets into the bay. I can only assume that this is a main aterial route for auto traffic. And that the debris in the bay is now a hazard to navigation. I can only imagine how big the emergency response is right now.
