My cousin imported an entire oven from Italy.

The thing was huge, it must have weighted over a ton (literally more than a ton - but probably less than two tons). That oven made the best pizza I ever ate. There's just something special about having the right oven for making pizza...

Several years ago, a very nice Italian restaurant in Orange County shut down, and was replaced by a sports pub. I was drinking there with a friend recently, and we both felt hungry, so we ordered a pizza. It was a great pizza. I asked the server why this pub could make such a good pizza, and she told me "The new owners tried to tear everything down when they bought this place. But the pizza oven was so big and so difficult to remove that they decided to leave it in place. That's why our pizza is so good."

So, as mentioned earlier, there's something special about having the right oven for making pizza....
