Did I at any point suggest that he is an angel sent down from anywhere? He is a career politician who has put his name on plenty of questionable decisions throughout his life. Our entire political system is in the pocket of various industries, including the financial industry, which again, is a structural problem wrt how campaigns are financed and how influence is peddled in Washington. I am all and only comparing him to the alternative and it is not even close. He may not be an angel in absolute terms, but compared to the other guy, which is how elections work, he may well be.
