on the Dems to save his speakership.
The Israel and Taiwan bills have to be passed, but he knows the Dems may reject them if Ukraine isn't also voted on. If he includes Ukraine then the nut jobs will come after him. So, he has to bring all three to a vote and has to rely on the Dems to save him, which they will.
I'm still not sure why he refused to bring the senate bill to the floor and insisted on breaking it apart into three different bills. I assume he thought that might partially pacify the crazies so they could vote for Israel and Taiwan and not vote for Ukraine.
