I admit it. I had my doubts earlier in the season, when the Bruins went 0-3 against the Sun Devils. But, boy, did they come back to finish up the season. And I doubted again, when the Bruins, looking tired and confused, fell 6-2 to the Horned Frogs. But they came back behind Trevor Bauer's pitching and the whole team's hitting to eliminate TCU in a 10-3 dismemberment. It was ASU that was sent home after an 0-2 pratfall in Omaha, while UCLA plays for the title. Sweet.
So now I know that the Bruins can win against ANYBODY when it counts, when it's all on the line. Only USC, uh, the other one, from South Carolina, stands between UCLA and the CWS championship. I have no doubt. Do you?
