Former PGA Tour veteran has won the Champions Tour Professional Golf Tour for 2019. As the 2019 winner over all the over-50 pro tour players in the world, on January 15, 2020, McCarron received the Jack Nicklaus Trophy as the 2019 PGA Tour Champions Player of the Year.
On May 5, 2019, McCarron won the Insperity Invitational on the PGA Tour Champions for his 10th career Champions Tour tournament. The following month McCarron won the MasterCard Japan Championship by three strokes for his third win of the season.
On November 10, 2019, McCarron won the season-long Charles Schwab Cup and a $1,000,000 annuity on the PGA Tour Champions. In addition, his regular tour winnings were
$2,534,090, bringing his Tour winnings to over $10,000,000 since retirement from his PGA pro golf career.
