i'm a huge UCLA sports fan and a general fan of nearly all sports ... somewhat. Not a particular baseball fan especially when i don't much care for the teams involved. That said, i kept an eye on the progress of this game but did NOT watch it. (Baseball's that sort of sport - you're either all in and enjoying the almost endless strategies that play out in the game, or it's really boring....) i see that LSU's pitcher struck out 17. All i knew when i posted was it was the 11th inning and the pitcher struck out the side to end the game. For some reason i wrote "reliever" assuming that to be the case - dumb, by me - should have said pitcher. Marvelous effort by the starting pitcher going all the way. Apologize for my mistake.
Today's game is on ESPN/ESPN+ starting at noon Pacific time
