This is what BRO writer David Woods said about Israel on the Podcast of Champions last week -- just days after Hamas had invaded Israel and killed over 1000 civilians:
"If a people are oppressed they are going to occasionally do horrific things. So you can condemn the action - this is bad, you shouldn't do those things — but you can look at the American revolution and find like 10 terroristic acts performed by Americans against the British. These things happen when a people are oppressed. And I think people who look at this and just say, oh, we condemn them for doing this thing, we’ll, it’s like, I don’t know, Gaza’s got, I think, two million people in a space I think it’s two times the size of Washington DC. So three times the number of people in two times the space, and their water, electricity, food shipments, medicine, all that is controlled entirely by Israel and Egypt. That’s a tough spot. And ok, is Israel, you know, are they feeling threatened by Gaza, sure. But keeping people in an open air prison isn’t good and it’s going to lead to some negative externalities."
