UCLA scored 198.075 points - first Pac-12 team to do that this season - to hand #18 Arizona its first loss in a dual meet at UCLA. The result is sure to improve the Bruins' #11 ranking nationally.
Selena Harris won the All Around with a spectacular mark of 39.775 (out of a possible 40.00), third best in the nation this year. She won Uneven Bars and Balance Beam with identical scores of 9.975 and tied teammate Nya Reed on Floor Exercise with another 9.975. (Reed won Vault with yet another 9.975; Harris scored 9.875 on that event.)
Bruins set season highs on three events: Bars (49.475), Beam (49.525) and Floor, UCLA's long time signature event (49.750).
Team was really cookin' even down two team members who are away this year preparing for the Olympics.
