It's unlikely that the impact on UCLA softball was a major concern
when certain Pac-12 schools decided to join the Big 10.
Some great rivalries will end (just as in other sports) - fortunately
a couple will be maintained.
I will be curious to see what February scheduling looks like; maybe
good-weather tournaments rather than in-league play.
Good thing that jet fuel is so cheap (he said) because league travel
will be significantly different.
