Can't believe that the Pac-12 Networks will be missed. In LA County the basic Spectrum cable package we had included the Pac-12 National, Pac-12 Los Angeles, ESPN, and ESPN2 channels. ESPNU and the other Pac-12 channels (Arizona, Bay Area, Mountain, Oregon, Washington) were available for a fee but we never bought. In 2024 46 of our 55 games were on TV with 30 of them available free in our package (14 Pac-12 Networks, 4 Pac-12 Los Angeles, 7 ESPN2, 4 ESPN, 1 ABC). For 2023 50 of 59 were on TV with only 23 available free in our package (17 Pac-12 Networks, 1 Pac-12 Los Angeles, 5 ESPN2). 2022 was similar with 49 of 61 on TV and 22 (12 Pac-12 Networks, 1 Pac-12 Los Angeles, 4 ESPN2, 4 ESPN, 1 ABC) free. Even back in 2019 (National Champion season) when 45 of 62 were on TV, 25 (17 Pac-12 Networks, 2 ESPN2, 6 ESPN) were free. Now in 2025, 42 of our TBD schedule are scheduled to be televised and only 4 (1 ESPN2, 1 FS1, 2 BTN) are free without a streaming service. Note: Some (most) of the 2019/2024 ABC/ESPN were in the World Series.
ESPN+, FloCollege (FloSoftball, FloSports), and B1G+ are not really channels but more subscription streaming services. FloCollege (FloSoftball, FloSports) has been exclusively airing the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic from Cathedral City, CA since at least 2018 (and probably before) as well as other tournaments. Found prices of $29.99/month, $150/year. ESPN+ $12/month, $120/year. B1G+ ($12.99/month, $89.99/year). You need a Smart TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku...etc
In place of Pac-12 National and Pac-12 Los Angeles we have Big Ten Network and Big Ten Overflow...and in the few months of viewing there is only 1 feed.
