well, I agreed with the announcer who said UCLA would have to make up ground on Oklahoma this rotation to have a chance to beat them. Didn't happen.
We scored a 49.2 on Uneven Bars but OK scored 49.4375 on vault. Going to ride that result and beam to the title - and they haven't even had uneven bars yet, their specialty event.
OK stands at 148.6375
UCLA has 148.3000
Utah (finishing late on FX) has 148.1125
Missouri has 147.7250
So we needed to gain on the Sooners and we actually lost a bit of ground that rotation. Now we have beam, can't afford any mistakes and need a HUGE performance but realistically, OK has uneven bars on which they excel - can't do better than second on our own now for which place we are in competition with Utah which finishes on vault - tough challenge for the Utes; risky (scoring wise) apparatus for us but with a nice high ceiling which we showed off Thursday in the semi-finals.
Go Bruins!
