SC loaded the bases bottom of the 6th but only scored two runs which ends the mercy rule chances and gives us a chance to bat one last time (for all the good that will do today). It's 2-9 at this point.
Top of the 7th, First batter out. Second batter - Pola - flies out deep to right by right enter. Third batter - Woolery - walked (excellent at bat!) Brings up Grant, two out, one on, all we need are 7 runs here. Fly out to right. Easy peasy.
UCLA has lost game one of the Super Regionals four times and still reached the WWS three of those four times. We'll see about this time next day or two.
