Woolery's at bat

This is just an interpretation.

I've watched highlights of the bottom of the seventh a
couple of times, and, like another poster, I am
mystified by the "shift" that allowed Terry's grounder
to go all the way to the fence. In post-game she
said she was just looking for something in her
"wheel house," which she got right away.

While South Carolina was going through its machinations
for Woolery's at-bat, she just stood there, alone, looking
bemused. South Carolina players and their coach were
in conference, in comes Gress (again), and everyone
talks it up to get "on the same page."

Woolery just watches.

One of my coaching "rules" was to make a relief pitcher
pitch. Woolery, however, simply cranked Gress's first pitch.

Now we have a game on Sunday.

Actually, two: Baseball goes for Big Ten Championship.
