it's not a big deal. But, she claims to be quite happy w a 10 player roster.

Do they scrimmage at practice? Or, do they just play the practice guys that are an adjunct to the team? (that's not a criticism, it's a question).

Imo, if you've got roster spots, why not bring in young role player types that aren't HS superstars expecting to play?

She's going to need to replace a ton of players after this season - why not get a head start. Bring in 5 good, not great, younger players. Let them learn the game, learn the culture. Maybe one of them blossoms. And, at least, next year, you've got the 5 coached up and ready to go role players and you don't have to spend your time on that when recruiting.

And, query - are there no players that are good starters on lower level D1 teams or even D2 teams that would want to transfer to UCLA to get a UCLA education and be on a Title contending team? Get one of those. You've got someone that is composed has attributes. We'd have been better off w/ a transfer with some experience and some kind of offensive game than forcing Kendall Dudley into the mix, who looked as nervous and shaky at the end of the season as she did at the beginning.
