SC controlled the game for most of it but the Bruins had a couple players who were faster than anyone SC had and we got a breakaway goal and then benefitted from a penalty kick off a pretty obvious penalty in the box to take a 2-0 lead. But the Trojans kept fighting and got two late goals in a five minute stretch late in the game to tie it up. But a late foul by SC in the box as the SC defender tried to go through the Bruin attacker to get to the ball led to the winning penalty kick for a 3-2 ULA win.
A loss would have dropped the Bruins into 4th place in the upcoming B1G tournament. The win I THINK elevates us to the #2 seed (We were tied with Purdue going into this game.)
