Dent and Thomas--assuming they inquired. I'm not so thrilled either but although he isn't a big scoring guard, he is quick, athletic and plays pretty good defense and is an excellent pass first PG. Also penetrates defenses pretty well and kicks out to an open man. Definitely a true PG.
One very big negative is that he averages below 70% in free throw shooting. Not good for a PG. In addition, I don't believe he would be a 1 million plus PG like Dent or Thomas and that may be a major factor. Cronin may also believe that he would be a very solid back up PG if Perry works out as primary PG.
In a week or so, there are going to be more good ones to choose from though and I'm hoping for a PG a bit better than Cadeau. But if he is being recruited to back up Perry or Clark, that may be what Cronin's plan is if BRO is correct in their comments. But then there is the question, who would want to transfer to be a backup?
