but the question that jumps out is it the system or the player. As you point out, CMC was not going to change his system to accommodate one player so he had to TRY and fit Mara in where he could…if I am 7’3” and can dunk without jumping I may want the system to be molded around my talents rather than try and fit my talents into the system. I guess I am saying that I can see why Aday thought it was time to go. Good decision/bad decision who knows to quote JRW to Walton … “We’re gonna miss you Bill” … and the hair got cut. Sorry to see Mara go and hope the decision works out for all involved but I would have loved to see Cronin modify his system to accommodate Mara’s skills a little more.
