Kareem the writer, as great as he is, clearly isn't in the same class as Angelou, Baldwin, Butler, Hughes or Morrison, let alone Bradbury, Chandler, Dickinson, Faulkner, Fitzgerald, Frost, Hemmingway, Kerouac, Lee, London, Mailer, McCarthy, Melville, multiple Millers, O'Connor, Poe, Roth, Salinger, Steinbeck, Twain, Vonnegut, Whitman, Wharton, or Williams; and those are just American writers.
Don't get me started on Allende, Borges, Cervantes, Dante, Dostoevsky, Marquez, Rushdie, or that guy called Shakespeare.
Heck, Kareem isn't even the best American writer whose last name starts with "J". That honor certainly and undisputedly belongs to Henry James.
Of course, I doubt a single one of those writers could sink a sky hook.
